Clackamas struck first right after the start in the 1st minute Junior Forward #23 Kyla Sullivan found the back of the net. Tualatin converted on a second penalty kick chance of the half to knot the score at the break. Clackamas Senior Goalkeeper #11 Hallie Byzewski stopped the first awarded penalty kick four minutes earlier.

One minute into the second half Senior Midfielder #2 Emma Anderson settled a Tualatin clearing attempt from about 25 yards out and sent a line drive with pace into the net near the far post. Ten minutes into the half, Tualatin had a good chance to tie the match once more. #18 for Tualatin found room near the top of the box, but her right-footed blast sailed wide of the far post. Tualatin didn’t have many more quality chances in the match thanks to suffocating defense from Kori Walters, Maddie Tetz, Payton Mongelli, and Remi Le. Clackamas controlled the ball in the second, by the possession play of midfielders Peyton Fenrich, Ellie Gentry, and Emma Anderson. In the 75th minute Senior Forward #21 Ellie Busik found the ball in a scum right at the front of the Tualatin goal and placed it over the line for the final goal of the game after a Payton Mongelli free kick bounced off of several players. Senior Goalkeeper #11 Hallie Byzewski aided again by a strong determined defense limited one of the top strikers in the league to just one goal off a penalty kick.
