Another good perfromance against an in-for Lake Oswego side earned the hosts their second tie of the season.
Both teams enjoyed periods of dominance with the Cavaliers creating the majority of chances in the first half. Junior Keanu Cano, in particular, gave his marker a torrid time and going close on a couple of occasions.
The beginning of the second half saw the Lakers create some chances of their own with keeper Hunter Johnson being called upon a couple of times to keep the ball out of the hosts goal.
The end of the match saw the Clackamas Cavaliers finish strong going close to breaking the deadlock on a number of occasions. Sophomore midfielder almost turned one in at the near post after a good run and cut back from the lively Cano and forward Alex Wilson almost claimed a victory at the death narrowly glancing his header over from a corner.
However, the CAVS had to settle for a tie but can take a lot of heart form a good showing against a strong opponent whilst recording a second straight clean sheet and thus feeling confident heading into their first conference game on Thursday against David Douglas.
