Girls Varsity Soccer · Sun Glow Athlete of the Week for September 30-October 6

Boy’s Cross Country–Ben Harvey for a sub-17-minute performance at Lents Park.

Girls Cross Country-– Olivia Iparriguirre for a 6th place overall finish and a time of 20:17

Football–Richard Kennewell, 3 TDs in CAVS 51-8 homecoming victory over Gresham.  (1 on defensive interception/2 on offense receiving).  23 catches for 473 yards and 8 TD on the season.

Volleyball–Athlete of the week is Jayla Parnell. She had a hitting percentage of .395, 11 kills, 8 Aces and 2 Blocks.

Other Nominees:

Girl’s Soccer–Senior Midfielder Emma Anderson. Had three assists this week and controlled the midfield leading our team to two wins, ten goals scored while shutting out both teams we faced.

Boy’s Soccer–Tyler Bennett has scored three goals in two games and performed in a new role with ease leading the line as a forward.

Girls Soccer–
 Remi Le–Junior Defender.  She played all eighty minutes of both our games marking the quickest most dangerous forwards of the opposing team.

Girl’s Soccer–Junior Forward Kyla Sullivan. Scored a hat trick (3 goals) in the Sunset game and had the assist on the goal that brought us back from two goals down at half to tie the Mountainside game.

Volleyball–Junior Outside Hitter–in 5 games vs. Sandy had 8 kills, with a hitting percentage of 47.60%, serve % of 96% and played an all round game for the CAVS both on the front and back row.

Football–Jake Bushman–Senior–3-year starter, team captain–12 total tackles in first 2 games/1 interception on defense and 1 rushing TD on offense last week.

Girl’s Soccer–Aidan Brown –Sophomore Midfielder — Displayed her versatility by taking shifts in the midfield and as a forward. Aidan had 4 assists and 2 goals in our 8-1 win over 4th ranked Cleveland.

Girls Track:  Kailee Yoshishige. Leads the league-leading 4×100, ranks 2nd in the 100HH, and ranks 3rd in the 300IH. She ranks 7th all-time in Clackamas history for the 100HH.

Softball:  Oliva Musso.  She was 6-12 (.500), 3 RBI’s and 1 run scored.
