Boys Varsity Cross Country: Ben Harvey ran a time of 16:22 at Districts, good for 4th overall in the conference, and a personal record. Amazing performance after having to sit out the entirety of track season last spring due to a knee injury sustained during wrestling.

Girls Varsity Cross Country: Olivia Iparriguirre ran a time of 19:55 at Districts, good for 4th overall in the conference, and a personal record by over 15 seconds.

Girls Varsity Volleyball · Sun Glow Heating and Cooling for Week of October 14th-21st


Other Nominees:

Football–Justice Pagan–Senior–6 total tackles–5 for a loss–1 blocked punt and a Team Captain,

Girls Soccer–Senior Goalkeeper Hallie Byzewski. She had 2 shoutouts helping us secure the Mount Hood Conference title. She has had 8 shutouts this season, one coming against the second highest scoring team in the State.

Boys Varsity Cross Country · Sun Glow Heating and Cooling Athlete of the Week for October 7th-13th


Other Nominees:

Girl’s Cross Country–Olivia Iparriguirre–Sophomore– who ran a personal record race in a time of 20:12 and nearly caught the frontrunner from Reynolds.  She was 2nd overall, by only one second, and the gap between her and the number 3 runner was over a minute and a half.

Girl’s Soccer–Senior Midfielder Peyton Fendrich. She had two goals and four assists in our two league wins placing us in sole possession of first place in the Mount Hood Conference.

Volleyball–Christin Kwon–Sophomore–7 Aces, 8 assists, 22 digs and a passing percentage of 87%.

Boy’s Cross Country–Ben Harvey for a sub-17-minute performance at Lents Park.

Girls Cross Country-– Olivia Iparriguirre for a 6th place overall finish and a time of 20:17

Football–Richard Kennewell, 3 TDs in CAVS 51-8 homecoming victory over Gresham.  (1 on defensive interception/2 on offense receiving).  23 catches for 473 yards and 8 TD on the season.

Volleyball–Athlete of the week is Jayla Parnell. She had a hitting percentage of .395, 11 kills, 8 Aces and 2 Blocks.

Girls Varsity Volleyball · Sun Glow Athlete of the Week for September 23rd-September 29th


Other Nominees:

Girl’s Soccer–Senior Midfielder Emma Anderson. Had three assists this week and controlled the midfield leading our team to two wins, ten goals scored while shutting out both teams we faced.

Boy’s Soccer–Tyler Bennett has scored three goals in two games and performed in a new role with ease leading the line as a forward.
