Clackamas High School would like to welcome Tyler Walters as our new athletic trainer. He is replacing Heidi Loebach who has accepted a position with City of Portland’s Bureau of Emergency Communications. She will be an Emergency Communications Dispatcher. We wish her the best.
Here is a short bio on Tyler. When we begin athletics again he will be at the parent meetings so you get a chance to meet him in person at that time. We are excited to have him as a part of our staff.
Hi, my name is Tyler Walters and I will be the Certified Athletic Trainer at Clackamas High School. I graduated from Oregon State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, and in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Athletic Training. I recently completed an internship at California State University, Fresno, where I worked with the equestrian and men’s tennis teams. In my free time, I enjoy sports and being active, as well as spending time with my family and friends.
As an athletic trainer, I have had years of education and experience in the field of sports medicine. My training has included athletic injury prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency medical services, among many other aspects. I am responsible for being the first responder for athletic injuries and emergency medical situations to ensure the safety of the student-athletes at Clackamas High School.
