Girls Soccer–Rebekah Gallegos earned Player of the Week honors for her outstanding play against David Douglas and Centennial high schools during the week of October 7, 2019. Her solid left-back defensive play disrupted both teams’ attempts to break down her team’s defense. Rebekah also played a key role in her team’s effort to build from the back with her accurate and inspired distribution of the ball to the midfielders and attackers.

Boys Cross Country
–Ben Harvey for being the overall winner of the varsity race this week against Reynolds, Central Catholic, Grant, Cleveland, and Wilson. He smashed his previous PR with a time of 15:45. That is the second-fastest time ever run by a CHS runner.
Girls Cross Country–Olivia Iparraguirre for finishing third overall against the same teams. She also had a PR of nearly 15 seconds with a time of 19:30.
