Cavaliers News · Head Dance Coach Named

Alexsis Woolsey (formerly Winterhalter) has been named Head Dance Coach for the 2018-19 school year.  Sue Ann Williams has moved from Intermin Head Coach to Assistant Coach.  Alexsis’s bio is below:

Alexsis’ love of dance began at a very young age, and has continued throughout her entire life. She took her first dance class at the age of four and danced at several private dance studios in the Portland Metro area until she joined the Clackamas Cavalettes her junior year of high school. The following year, she was selected as a dance captain and helped lead her team to a State Championship in the Show Division. She was also selected for the OSAA All-State Team and awarded a DDCA Dance Scholarship for her dance excellence. After high school, Alexsis attended the University of Oregon and graduated in 2015 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. The same year, she was hired as an assistant coach for the Cavalettes. Now after three years, she is excited to become the team’s head coach and continue teaching hard work, leadership, and sharing her love of dance with young students.
