Game Recap

Goals, goals, goals!

Our Cavs came away with 9 last night in Gresham, and a 10th that the ref simply couldn’t see through a wall of 21 bodies when Avery Elmore put one in with her head off of a Jocelyn Sanchez corner, leaving the early scoreline at 0-0. The first goal of the game which went in the record book came from Tatum Reiter, set up by Jocelyn Sanchez. Sabrina Miriy put the second in the back of the net after Erica Pasquantonio found her in the box. Alena Decoito scored from another Erica Pasquantonio assist 9 minutes later. Erica found her own goal shortly before the first half came to a close.

The second half started quickly with a Chloe Hunt Goal. A penalty converted by Abbie Bach followed very shortly after. In the 60th minute Jocelyn Sanchez sent in yet another corner to the head of Avery Elmore, and this one indeed decorated the scoreboard. In the final 10 minutes, both Emma Peterson and Delaney McCollum found their own way to beat the keeper.

Great show, now onward to David Douglas!
